Rainy Day

Today is gross and rainy. We tried to go to the Kremlin, but it is closed on Thursdays. Instead we walked down to the Kitai Gorod area to look at onion domed churches. It was nice to get a stroll in before the rain came down harder.

















There was a demonstration happening nearby and I have never seen so many police and army in one place - at least in a big city.





There were trucks full of men lining the street. In the underground walkway we walked by at least 50 policemen all lined up. We made sure to look very innocent and foreign.

I don't think we will see the sun at all while in Russia. All my photos are going to be dim and grey.
